Objective | Sharp onset of energy production from renewable energy sources poses a challenge for energy policy. Public support, innovations and therefore declining investment costs of RES technologies resulted in very fast growing share of RES in total energy production of many countries included in the EU. Energy production from RES is fragmented into a large number of relatively small producers therefore the management of energy supply requires new approaches (governance rather than government). The aim of this seminar is to discuss these current issues in the context of Central Europe. |
